OPERATION TEDDY BEAR CARE!!!!!!
SHOW A CHILD LIVING IN POVERTY YOU CARE. South African children are orphaned or left vulnerable by the thousands due to the AIDS epidemic in South Africa. These children live in abject poverty without any personal comforts. For them, it is just a matter of surviving from one day to the next. The aim of this project is to provide small personal comforts for these children, many of whom do not have a single item that they can call their own. We give the gift of a humble teddy bear and food to fill the belly of the children we help because many of these kids do not consistently get even one meal a day.
HOW IT WORKS: 100% of the money raised through this
project goes to help provide comfort for South African children whose lives have
been impacted by the AIDS epidemic. We have a number of comfort packs that can
be bought with your donation. All items are purchased and distributed personally
by Operation Teddy Bear Care volunteers living in South Africa. This approach
ensures that money and fossil fuel aren't wasted to ship items overseas. If you
have items you want to ship directly, please send an email to OperationTeddyBearCare@gmail.com
and include a list of the items you wish to donate. We will reply with the
shipping information.
Malnutrition and starvation are major problems for these
children. This is why we strongly suggest purchasing Package 2, Package
4 or Package 6, each of which include grocery packages in
addition to teddy bears and cookies.
